Contains correspondence, clippings and a scrapbook which reflect Concha Ortiz y Pino de Kleven's years in the New Mexico State Legislature and her connections with important New Mexican politicians and educators. There are various interview audio tapes, the majority recorded in 1986. The collection also gives evidence of her involvement in community work, promotion of bilingual education, support of New Mexico folk art, and other aspects of her social career.
